HISTORY

DO YOU HAVE GOLD STAR MEMORIES? TELL US!

Did you record at Gold Star Recording Studios? Did you stop by and witness a session?
Did you attend a college dance where Dave Gold and Stan Ross spun the platters?

Then we want to hear from you!

While aiming to interview virtually every major rock, jazz, pop or Broadway artist of the era who recorded or mastered their songs at Gold Star for the book “The Gold Star Album“ and upcoming documentary on the legendary studio, the Gold Star Historical  Team will be tracking down the hundreds of aspiring artists, comedians, composers and songwriters who hoped their work at Gold Star would launch them to stardom.

“Gold Star’s story ranges far beyond the hit records we made. Gold Star served the entire community as well as the entertainment industry. We want to hear from everybody who did any kind of business with Gold Star,” said Gold and Ross.

Select Gold Star Memories will be previewed and updated regularly on the site, they added.

Whether you performed on or even witnessed a recording session, recorded a comedy routine or a jingle for a local auto dealership, or consider yourself a friend of the Gold Star family, we want to hear from all of you. Send your Gold Star Memories to" Memories@ goldstarrecordingstudios.com" or call Gold Star’s publicity firm Crowley & Associates at (909) 899-2465 to schedule an interview.
